This comment is not related to Velu Nayakan, since i do not have Gopi Mohan gaari email Id, i am sending a general comment thru this medium.

    Gopi Mohan gaaru,
    Hi. I’m your junior.
The basic idea that of ‘redeaming one’s father and bringing him back from the dark side by his son, who is the protagonist,, is such a compelling one. బాద్ షా missed a great opportunity, while ‘Star Wars episode IV – Return of the Jedi’ did it well.
As you are aware there have to be complications atleast at two of the three levels — Story, Story Telling or Characters.
Telugu films esp. big budget ones try, needlessly, complicated Story Telling – Big sets, exotic locations, purposelessly playing with story’s chronology etc (which constiture Story Telling).. May be they think they are forced to do it as their Stories and Characters are devoid of complexity. As in the case of బాద్ షా.
It is about time our superheros of telugu film stories start having some complexity in their characters.
Come let us infuse some bold and enlightened ways into TFI.
    Love
    Ramana

nice to see your post……we are always ready to do such characterizations…..and add such complexity to characters.
If Telugu makers are ready to take our inputs,i am ready to deliver my best.waiting for the right time and for right film maker.otherwise i will try to do my best in my direction if everything permits.I am not complaining, but in these 15 years, i did not get that kind of opportunity from anyone.we writers used to discuss many themes….some aesthetic… some surreal… some heart touching…..never materialised.i know future is for new wave films…will prove myself in that too.
      thank you
